2011 Grand Champions: Butts-A- Fire

Well, the 6th Annual Hog Heaven Cook-off and Bake-off has finished another successful  weekend.  Congratulations to all the teams that brought home trophies, cash and ribbons.  A great crowd took advantage of the beautiful weather on Friday night for Moonlight Madness.  Walking from booth to booth, the hungry crowd took their appetites with them and sampled all the mouth watering offerings of the teams participating in Taster's Choice.  Later that night, during intermission of the outstanding, toe-tapping music of 13th Hour, the winners of Taster's Choice were announced.  On Saturday, the teams all got their game faces on.  While some teams stayed up all night tending to their grills and playing cards with anybody willing to throw their money down,  others took a more relaxed approach and tried to sleep while visions of a Hog Heaven trophy danced in their head.  For some, that dream turned into a reality when the winners were announced at the end of the day.  The winners for both the Cook-off and the Bake-off are listed on the page listed 2011 Winners.

2010 Grand Champion - Addicted To Rub

We hope so!  Yep, it's that time of the year again.  Time to pull the smoker out of storage, fire it up, sharpen up and show off your considerable meat conquering skills.  If you've always wanted an opportunity to see how your smoking skills stack up to your buddies, neighbors and even family, you need to sign up for the 6th Annual St. Therese Hog Heaven Cook-off and Bake-off.   Last year was our biggest yet, with 25 teams.  This year, we're looking for even more.  The reigning grand champion, Addicted To Rub, will be back to defend their title.  Will they repeat, or will another team step up and dethrone the champs?
